New Uganda Guidelines For Departing And Arriving Passengers

The government of Uganda through the ministry of health and civil aviation authority has issued new travel guidelines for departing and arriving passengers to Uganda with immediate effect. Here is the summary of the new/updated guidelines;

  1. All arriving individuals to Uganda via the airport or any land borders are required to complete the ministry of health Uganda Travel Health declaration form.
  2. All individuals departing through Entebbe international airport are required to complete the Traveller Health Declaration form within 24 hours of their departure flight.
  3. All travelers to Uganda are required to hold a PCR test certificate acquired not later than 72 from their departure flight. But for the fully covid-19 vaccinated individual; their valid covid-19 certificate can suffice.
  4. Children below 5 years are exempted from all the above requirements.
