- Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is closely situated to the Mtito Andei Gate, 260 kilometers southeast of Nairobi and 240 kilometers northeast of Mombasa on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. This is one of the oldest Lodges in Kenya’s protected areas and it boasts of 56 rooms, 51 of which are standard rooms and 5 are suites with verandas.
- Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge
Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge is a luxury safari Lodge which is located along the Chyulu Hills National Park between Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park southeast of Kenya. It is built using Lava rock that over look the open plains with Mount Kilimanjaro. Ol Donyo Lodge has 8 thatch roofs and uniquely designed and decorated suites with incredible views over the African savanna to the Kilimanjaro Mountain. Other facilities in this lodge include a lounge, veranda and private verandas in every suite, spectacular in and outdoor areas, outdoor campfire, log pile hide viewing perch alongside the animal watering hole, library, curio shop, free Wi-Fi. This lodge was constructed in 1987 by bush pilot and conservationist Richard Bonham.
- Voyager Safari Camp
This luxury camp is set in the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro between Amboseli National Park next to Mombasa and Tsavo West National Park. It straddles a 300,000 acre land, consisting of 25 tents, 16 of these are raised on the southern side of the Sante River and 9 are at the northern bank. Some of the tents have double beds or twins and others are more luxurious and even 3 family visitors can spend a night here. There is a dinning area and delicious meals are always served
- Lions Bluff Lodge
Lion Bluff Lodge is one of the smallest lodges with 12 traditionally built en-suite bandas with verandas over looking most of its wildlife and beautiful savanna. It has 3 distinct rooms and 11 of which are outside the hill on wooden stilts with wooden floors, canvas walls and traditional coconut palm thatch roofs while one is built in the similar style though with ferrous cement walls and private canvas walled verandah. The recent one is a traditional stone walled cottage with 2 bedrooms whose exterior walls are painted with red soils of Tsavo, the interior rooms feature high ceilings that help keeping the room cool and shared veranda with a coconut palm thatch roof. Lion Bluff Lodge also consists of bar and the restaurant.
- Sarova Salt Lick Lodge
Sarova Salt Lick Lodge is spectacularly situated Tsavo safari lodge on top stilts which allow you to look through the waterhole and approximately 400 kilometers from Nairobi. It lies within the heart of the private Taita Hills Sanctuary along border with Tsavo West National Park in the south eastern Kenya. Made of 96 rare rooms all raised on stilts and constructed across the 2 (two) levels with en-suite bathrooms and permanent showers and water closet plus hot and cold water. There are 33 twins, 48 double rooms and 15 triples. The rooms are spacious and offer visitors total comfort. The rooms comprise of hairdryer, telephone, cable TV, double or king size beds, and internet connection, minibar, fridge, kitchen and others.
- Finch Hattons Camp Tsavo
Finch Hattons Camp is luxury camp which is strategically located at the base of Chyulu Hills. Its dinning tables are set with silver tableware and fresh flowers while its tents arranged around the permanent freshwater spring where most turtles, crocodiles, hippos and several bird species are found. It is accessible within an hour’s flight from Nairobi or Mombasa and it has its own airstrip. Over 50 visitors can be accommodated in its large tents with twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, large mirrors, brass fittings and many others. The tented camp has electricity with shaver outlets for 110V and 220V, hairdryer, battery charger outlet for 220V and stocked minibar fridge. - Kiwanjani Eco-Lodge
Kiwanjani Eco-lodge is luxury lodge and it can be reached from Mombasa about two and half hours’ drive; Nairobi to Voi about four hours and Voi to Kiwanjani one hour or take chartered flights from Nairobi to Mombasa with Air Kenya and Safari Link or charter flight from Nairobi to Kiwanjani Airstrip. The bedrooms are complete with en-suite bathroom and private verandah all over viewing the wildlife waterhole where most of the buffaloes and elephants confine for water. Its bathrooms are large, luxurious with the best overhead showers, flush toilets and wash basins with running water. Its guest cottages are designed using traditional materials. This lodge also has a restaurant, lounge and fully stocked bar.
- Severin Camp Tsavo
This accommodation facility features 3 tented camps and it is run by Germans. It is entirely set using wood and stone with thatch roofs and its close location to nature is depicted in the open lounge and dinning room cum bar that is well furnished with lightweight, wooden furniture. It also has a library, Wi-Fi and comprises of 27 tents with suites, and others have twin beds and double bed or space for a third bed. For those of you who will travel as a family, there is an option of junior and executive suites.
- Sarova Taita Hills Lodge
Sarova Taita Hills Lodge lies along the main entrance to the Taita Hills Sanctuary in southeastern Kenya about 400 kilometers away from Nairobi and 200 kilometers from Mombasa. It can be reached within 1 hour flight from Nairobi or half an hour from Mombasa by private charter lands at the Lodge’s airstrip. This lodge features among the very few lodges that offer the world class service at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and Tsavo West National Park. Ngulia lodge is set within the Tsavo West National Park and over looks the Rhino Sanctuary. It is 260 kilometers through Mtito Andei Gate or from Mombasa about 250 kilometers via Tsavo River Gate. It has 52 rooms that face its wilderness areas and en-suites bathrooms facilities with balcony. It also has the main bay that provides excellent viewing point for the park’s wildlife, swimming pool, gift boutique, two bars, conference room, restaurant and others.
- Rhino Valley Lodge
This lodge has six (6) standard rooms, 10 (ten) luxury rock rooms, 6 self catering bandas and a campsite. It lies within 40 kilometers off from Mtito Andei Gate and it is also strategically located at the coast especially along Mombasa, Malindi and Diani.
- Kipalo Camp
Kipalo Camp is exclusively one of the best safari camps within Mbulia hills and it lies within 12000 acres. It has 8 double and twin tents accommodating about 16 visitors and each of them is well decorated and designed to depict the lime greens, greys and dark red soils which define the Tsavo Landscape. The camp is 2 and half hours’ drive from Mombasa. However, you can also use a chartered air service for those of you who may opt to take a flight to Kilaguni. You may also drive from Mombasa where you will spend about 5 hours on the tarmac and a 4 wheel drive car is ideal for your road trip.
- Lake Jipe Safari Camp
