Some specialize in luxury car rentals in Uganda, but most of the luxury car rentals in Uganda are related to weddings. It is not common to hire luxury vehicles for more than a day. There are mainly three car rental options on the luxury car rental side; that is the Land Cruisers, Mercedes-Benz, and Land rovers/range rovers. As stated earlier, most of the car rental options are for wedding ceremonies and high school promos. These are not the kind of rentals we are talking about here; we are talking about luxury car rentals specifically for safaris in Uganda. Here are the most popular car rental options for luxury safari car rentals in Uganda.

Land Cruiser 300 Series

The Land Cruiser 300 Series is available in the Land Cruiser Prado model, Land Cruiser V8 model, and the Land Cruiser GX model.  These cars have a very good ground clearance, making them suitable for most of the dirt roads in Uganda. The rental rates range between $300 per day $500 per day. This usually covers car rental with a driver. It does not cover fuel. In most instance, they are rented out with limited mileage. Due to the fact that they are rarely offered on a self drive basis; you do not have to worry about the insurance policies of the car.

There is an option of including a rooftop tent and car fridge at an extra fees. However in most cases, it is only the fridge option that is available. The rooftop tent option is rarely available.
